I have never tried newborn-like poses on older babies with a client before. I did with my daughter and now with my good friend’s 3 month old daughter. I love the chub! © carrie sandoval

I’ll admit, I was a little nervous this guy would be ready to party once he arrived since he slept in the car the entire trip from Los Angeles. He showed me… he slept the *entire* session! Ok, it’s killing me to not post some images from my first casting call session. But, I have come to the conclusion that I am going to keep these images to myself so that there will be some delicious surprises in the Barebaby book! Mom, who is fellow San Diego photographer, was amazing to work with and up for *anything*. I was able to pull off 2 of my ideas with her adorable, 4 day old little lady. Thanks so much R, for being so adventurous!

She is welcomed by her adoring parents and twin big brothers! She was sleeping when I arrived and continued to sleep for a majority of the session.
