Born 01-01-09… this little guy is a night time party animal. Mom and Dad were a little tired, but it made for a fantastic photoshoot. He was putty in my hands… the entire session! As you can tell by my splash page, I love the first image. Yep, more hanging babies… I am so happy my clients are loving them… I try to make each one unique! I am also loving Brittany’s hand painted background. Proud Daddy still had his hospital bracelet on, isn’t that adorable? 2009 is off to a great start! © carrie sandoval | orange county

You are the most amazing photographer Carrie! I am so trying to come up with new ideas that havn’t been done yet – thanks to your inspiration to be different and unique! You are fantastic!
Oh I am just in LOVE with the first hanging shot. I think they are all gorgeous, but that one just does something for me. The painted background, the leaves, the tones…..*sigh* And dad with hospital band on…..LOVE.
wow…i really love these. that sack rocks! i’m seeing a really cool smile in #2 that’s making me smile as well
you really have a gift carrie. 2009 is picking up right where 2008 left off. keep up the fantastic work.
I was curious to what type of material you use to make these ‘hanging baskets’
?? So cute!
Thanks so much!
Kristin, it’s the same gauze (indian gauze I believe) that I’ve used for 4 years now! The same gauze that I wrap them in. The darker material is gauze as well, but it’s doubled up, so it looks very different.
Gorgeous, Carrie! That first hanging picture is just amazing. With the background and the tree branches & leaves, it has almost an asian art feel. Gorgeous.
Amazing…I was noticing that all the hanging ones have a uniqueness to each one! Great work! Keep inspiring!
sigh…just sigh.
You are such an artist and I will tell you why. When you post your work..I just stop and stare at all the details and it makes me think…makes me want to be a better photographer….

I saw your blog on ppmag’s list and had to comment…it’s weird, your photo of – I guess it’s Jack – is the exact same image on Brittany Woodall’s blog site. I’m wondering who the photo actually belongs to? By the way, I love your images, they are simply beautiful!
Dorothy, it’s no secret! Brittany ( http://bwphotos.net ) and I are a team ( http://babyasart.com/ ). We came up with the pose together. What is posted here, came from my D3 and what is posted on her site, came from her D3!
