Your work is always gorgeous and when I saw this post I just had to comment. My brother works in a fabric and notions store here in Vancouver, BC, Canada that sells packages of heavy cheese cloth 36" wide x 3 yards long for only $2.99+tax. Let me know if you ever run out and I could always send you some. It's the least I can do for all of the inspiration you give me!

Hi there,

I was looking around the Pro4um to find out about what material people use to create these shots and it was suggested to use a 'deer bag'. Perhaps this is the type of original material that you used? I just ordered mine off of Amazon.com and can't wait to get it. I have tried cheesecloth and I find it really flimsy and really hard to work with. The deer bag is supposed to be very sturdy but breathable. Keep creating, you are making some amazing memories!

I bought some cheescloth at Walmart and it was real thin and really not what I was looking for! I will be heading out to BB&B as soon as I can get my kids out the door!! Thanks again! Please post as soon as you have some pics using the BB&B material! Thanks

Everyone wants to be like you, you know? You come up with the ideas & then everyone else copies you! I tried the cheesecloth on my own newborn & it took me 5 minutes to get him out of the tangled mess I made! You make it look so simple :)
Please tell me you'll have workshops soon???

So ironic that I JUST returned from a hunt of newborn stuff for a shoot tomorrow. I have this cheesecloth from BB&B and it is NOTHING like the junk at fabric stores or WM in packages. This is natural, tea clored and it looks just like the cheap kind until you wash it and then it's so different. I just cut mine into long strips and am washing it for like the 5th time and it seems to get yummier. I can't wait to try a CBC shot :) I'm also going to try some Indian shops local to see if I can find some gauze stuff that I've seem some of the women wear! Thanks for all the inspiration you give!
