… it is amazing how life turns sometimes, how it touches us in it’s own mysterious ways… My own baby was an unfair “trade” & “exchange”… but he has been so well guarded and I am so thankfull now! I guess no other compensation would have had the ability to keep me warm and still smiling in my madness and grief… I believe these are blessed children and they will always be special… Carrie, as always, your images are amazing, I am speechless! Leighton, you are a sweet sweet baby!!! I am in tears!

And I have to say that rarely a day goes by that I don’t think about Baby James, his family’s story and “I will go gently through this world.” My heart skipped a beat when I saw this post.
