Before a session, I always ask new Mommies if they have any pose or prop requests. I disclaim that we may not make it through the entire list because we never know how much baby will tolerate. Well, Mommy must have bribed little London with the sweetest lollipop because she breezed through every request without so much a pee or a peep! Thank you, baby girl! We welcomed two beautiful babies into the studio (and *out* of the studio!) during a workshop with Alicia Cervenka from northern California. Thank you to my wonderful clients and inquiries for bringing your beautiful bundles to us!
Please meet the adorable and completely adored Mila and Marco, all of two weeks old and barely 5 pounds each! We met them for their “first and LAST naked photoshoot” (says Dad!) at their home in Los Angeles. I often wonder if parents are surprised by what area of their home we decide to shoot in. Here we had this beautifully furnished living room and office with a wonderful wall of windows, yet we chose to shoot in the “under construction – jam packed floor to ceiling with extra furniture” soon to be guest room. It offered smaller and fewer windows, but they were floor to ceiling, a blank wall to use as a back drop and the ability to close the door so that the room would heat up nice and toasty. The good news is that we didn’t make a mess of the main living area! M+P, It was a pleasure working with you!
Well, I call this the perfect opportunity for me as well. An opportunity to post a favorite image from a session that I edited after I already blogged! I totally love these “unplugged” moments. She stretched and then curled right back into an adorable pose!
Ok, back to business! I know this is last minute, but we are looking for a baby who is 4-14 days old right *now*. This baby will be modeling Tuesday, July 13, as if we were conducting a full session. This is my attempt to catch the blog up! It’s been a fabulously busy few months with baby season and workshops. What a shame that I haven’t shared these beauties! Much more to come… I have sessions that I haven’t even opened up yet!
First is miss Kate. 100% girl; beautiful and delicate. Mom loves etsy and came fully prepared with her own elastic newborn headband (above). I love it!

And it’s always fun to see babies grow. This is the second time I’ve photographed Vienna. She really loved my white chair!
Baby Jaden. Snug as a bug! This is the last shot I took of the trunk with it’s bark intact. It’s face-lift debut is coming soon!
