Born June 12, 2010, at 6 pounds and 12 ounces, Adrianne doesn’t seem like such a little sister when you remember how tiny Ian and Libby were! Just look at all that chub! I have decided to declare it “Adrianne Week” and I am going to try to post a little bit of her every day since I couldn’t decide what to narrow it down to (with the exception of the first shot since we originally did it with Libby and haven’t done it since!). And plus… I plan on spending quite a bit more time with her this week since Brittany and I had back to back vacations right after she was born. I really need my Adrianne fix! © carrie sandoval | baby

Quite belated, I KNOW! I was waiting until my sister mailed out all of her announcements. So, even though they are now 3 months old and more than DOUBLE their birth weight, I’m sharing their birth announcement. It is a 5×5 trifold. Here is the cover and a micro-sized version of the inside when un-folded. © carrie sandoval | baby
Libby, my niece. | San Diego newborn baby photographer.
August 13, 2008I can’t believe my niece and nephew are already over two weeks old! And I was really hoping to have an “introduction” post by now, but I am so sad to report that our little Ian is still in the nicu. He was all set to come home last Sunday, but then a hole was discovered in his intestine (necrotizing enterocolitis). He is doing great and we are hoping he can come home in the next two weeks. In the meantime, I am having a blast with my little Libby girl. I hope I don’t wear her out by the time her brother joins her in the modeling! © carrie sandoval | baby
Happy Anniversary, Donna and Blaise.
July 28, 2008Huh? Today is my sister and brother-in-laws 7th wedding anniversary. And now, it is also the birth date of their twin babies! What a way to ring in the seven year itch, right? I would say that I have anxiously awaited this day for 7.5 months now… but it more like *years*. Elizabeth “Libby” Kay (4lbs 13oz) and Ian Blaise (5lbs1oz) were born at 9:31 and 9:32 this morning. Libby is doing fabulous, as is Ian… but is being watched closely in the NICU since his lungs weren’t quite as ready. I wish I could announce them with a picture, but since I haven’t yet met Ian face to face (or face to lens?), I will instead showcase “the calm before the storm”… aka… my sister and her fabulous belly! The first image was taken just 15 hours before the birth (now, don’t go blaming me!). I must thank my sister for being such a trooper and letting me try my crazy ideas out on her.
