June has been such an exciting month! The Baby as Art team started the month off by welcoming Pink and Carey Hart’s baby girl, Willow, to the world with her first photo session… which was featured in People Magazine a few weeks later. There will be an individual blog post about that next week on the Baby as Art blog. I just wanted to mention it today so my readers could pick up a copy while it’s still on the news stands! And for my friends in China and Malaysia, be sure to pick up a copy of the June issues of Photo Creator and Advanced Images Photography magazines… featuring an interviews with “me”! Although a little belated, I would love to share our beautiful newborn models from our newborn photography workshop held in the Oceanside beach house last month. Brittany not only enjoyed the company of all our wonderful attendees and the gorgeous families who participated, but also the awesome view of the dolphin-lined coast, surfers and a front row “seats” for the California Ironman Triathlon! Ziggy, Orly, Judah and Gideon welcome the newest Marley to the world. Meet Abraham. It was an honor to photograph their gorgeous children! And I didn’t know it at the time, but the photo session took place on Papa Bob Marley’s birthday! Thank you for letting me share a special day with you guys! Well, what I thought was going to be my first two sessions of the new year, turned into my last two sessions of last year! Meet sweet Baby K and Pax!
Also, I know this is last minute, but if anyone knows somebody with a brand new baby (born after Dec. 27) we would love to extend a special gift to them! We are holding a workshop next week and need a fresh baby to pose for us. The workshop will be held in the Fallbrook studio and there will be no session fee and complimentary prints. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! I know lots of new families in southern California had a great one with their new additions! I have really neglected my blog, so I figured there is no better time than now (just days before the new year, a time for resolutions) than to catch my blog up and share loads of little ones (one not born yet, and others 3 at a time!) that I have photographed in the past couple of months. Now I will have no excuse but to share sessions while they are still “sneak peeks”. Enjoy and thanks for looking!
