The March Baby as Art workshops were a great success! Brittany and I had the pleasure of meeting newborn photographers from around the country AND the world! We also had the most beautiful group of babies and families. Thank you to all for making it the best it could be!

Baby as Art [newborn photography workshop] is excited to announce their official casting call for San Diego! Models should be under four weeks [under two weeks is preferred].

Models needed in Fallbrook, California on March ~~27th, 28th~~, 30th and the 31st.

A bounty of beautiful babies | last chance model call for Sydney and Melbourne newborns!

My blog in so neglected. I apologize. We are experiencing a baby boom all while getting ready for our Australia workshop adventure! I thought I would show a favorite or two from a few recent sessions as well as shout out to any new Moms in Australia (anyone giving birth… um… right now, lol… would be perfect!). See details below.

Baby as Art {newborn photography workshop} is excited to announce their official casting call for Aussie newborns! Model compensation includes the edited full resolution digital files captured by Carrie Sandoval and Brittany Woodall during the workshop. Models should be under four weeks of age (under two weeks preferred). Melbourne models will be needed November 8-9. Sydney models will be needed November 10-12. Although a little belated, I would love to share our beautiful newborn models from our newborn photography workshop held in the Oceanside beach house last month. Brittany not only enjoyed the company of all our wonderful attendees and the gorgeous families who participated, but also the awesome view of the dolphin-lined coast, surfers and a front row “seats” for the California Ironman Triathlon! 12 pounds of adorable | newborn model model call!

These adorable twinks modeled for us during our last workshop. We were shooting until 2000 ISO, haha! Brittany and I enjoyed them so much, we invited them back for a couple more shots!

We are so excited about our upcoming beach house workshops and now is the time to shout out to all the brand new so Cal Mamas! Blake and Tanner, sisters | newborn baby model call

It wasn’t long ago that Blake (who you may remember posing with her Daddy here – an all time favorite shot of mine!) posed on this same wooden crate as a newborn. Now she is the proud big sister to Tanner.

In case you were wondering where these girls get their good looks, here you go! Mama is beautiful inside and out!

And, yes! Brittany and I are looking for a brand new baby to pose for our March workshop next week. If you have a baby less than two weeks old (born Feb 22 or after) or know someone who does and would be interested in modeling complimentary baby portraits, please inquire at workshop@babyasart.com.

Brittany and I put our heart and soul into our workshops… that’s a given. But, when it comes down to it, our tiny models are the ones who set the tone for the day. And these 2 little ladies were phenomenal! We breezed through all the poses and even got to step outside on this warm February afternoon! We cross our fingers that every workshop goes this smoothly. Thanks so much to the awesome families who lend us their precious babes!
