newborn photography, commercial baby photographer

And I am not just talking about baby Wyatt. I had a wonderful experience working with Tommee Tippee to produce black and white images for their advertising and branding. It was exciting to see one of the images in use (and even more exciting that a friend recognized it on the babies r us website!). Thanks again, to my gorgeous models, Ingrid and Mikayla, and Breanne and Wyatt. © carrie sandoval | newborn photographer

holiday card 2009

I am taking a break from packing for our New Years camping adventure… to put up one last blog post this year. I thought I would share our holiday card and wish you all a healthy and happy ‘010!

And, I can’t say good-bye without holding a toast to all my babies born in ‘09. See my tribute to them here (posted as a PAGE link above the header ): Babies Born 2009. Until next year…

souther california child photographer

I just wanted to shout out to my good friend, Jen Wright. She graduated from the Brooks Institute (Photography) this past weekend and I am so proud of her! She moved across the country from Atlanta, Georgia, to attend Brooks in Santa Barbara. She has not decided where she is going to live and set up shop (CA or GA) but I know how much she loves southern California. Since she is already here, I am urging her to give California her best shot (pun intended) over the summer. Not only can Jen nail the technicalities of a portrait, but she connects with children very well… a bonus that came from many years working as a nanny! So, if you are in the San Diego, Orange County or Los Angeles area and needing portraits of your kiddos, check out her website: Jen Wright – *California* children’s photographer
