My blog in so neglected. I apologize. We are experiencing a baby boom all while getting ready for our Australia workshop adventure! I thought I would show a favorite or two from a few recent sessions as well as shout out to any new Moms in Australia (anyone giving birth… um… right now, lol… would be perfect!). See details below.

Baby as Art {newborn photography workshop} is excited to announce their official casting call for Aussie newborns! Model compensation includes the edited full resolution digital files captured by Carrie Sandoval and Brittany Woodall during the workshop. Models should be under four weeks of age (under two weeks preferred). Melbourne models will be needed November 8-9. Sydney models will be needed November 10-12. June has been such an exciting month! The Baby as Art team started the month off by welcoming Pink and Carey Hart’s baby girl, Willow, to the world with her first photo session… which was featured in People Magazine a few weeks later. There will be an individual blog post about that next week on the Baby as Art blog. I just wanted to mention it today so my readers could pick up a copy while it’s still on the news stands! Well, what I thought was going to be my first two sessions of the new year, turned into my last two sessions of last year! Meet sweet Baby K and Pax!

Also, I know this is last minute, but if anyone knows somebody with a brand new baby (born after Dec. 27) we would love to extend a special gift to them! Be on the look out for a new release by cello soloist, Jennifer Miyahira. I personally can’t wait for my own copy so that I can play the soothing melodies during baby photo sessions! Jennifer and I had the same vision for the cover art of her CD and I love how it turned out! Tiny Mr. Brayden modeled for us during the shoot. Born June 12, 2010, at 6 pounds and 12 ounces, Adrianne doesn’t seem like such a little sister when you remember how tiny Ian and Libby were! Just look at all that chub! I have decided to declare it “Adrianne Week” and I am going to try to post a little bit of her every day since I couldn’t decide what to narrow it down to (with the exception of the first shot since we originally did it with Libby and haven’t done it since!). And plus… I plan on spending quite a bit more time with her this week since Brittany and I had back to back vacations right after she was born. I photographed baby Cole before I left for Nashville, so this isn’t really a sneak peek, but he’s to adorable not to share! You may remember his drop dead gorgeous Mommy! And while I am trying to catch up, meet baby Dane. Both these boys had the best lips ever! Can you tell I was a little fanatical about them?
