But I thought it was an awesome coincidence when I was gearing up to blog this gorgeous Mom to be, and I noticed the word “Zaftig” floating across my (Apple OSX) vocabulary enriching screensaver. There is something about the combination of a sweet baby and mother nature that inspires Brittany and I… so this winter, we were determined not to let the rain and 60° weather (yes! that is cold to us southern Californians! and even more cold to a wee little sprout who is accustomed to frolicking in 98.6°) “dampen” our creative vision! Recent showers have sprouted many beautiful fields of green in my neighborhood, but it was still too chilly for a naked baby. So why not bring the outdoors in? My creative partner, Brittany Woodall, put together this amazing set a few weeks ago and sadly, it does not last long. Ok, hold my hand now. I’ve avoided ultra-wide blog templates thus far because I thought the images were obnoxiously large. I needed a change. I’m giving it a go. Is it too much? Does the image fall off the side of your screen, haha?!

Baby Harrison was due to be born just before Christmas, but he so graciously waited not just until Brittany returned from her holiday visit in Atlanta, but for our personal workshop with Candi as well!
