Little Emi certainly pulled off an award winning performance during her session. She was a perfect angel! Congratulations on your “prize”, Yamashita family!

Sweet Kaylani

November 26, 2011

Maybe I am hungry right now. But after titling this blog post, I am now reminiscing about my favorite take out restaurant here in Fallbrook was a hawaiian barbecue joint called “Sweet Leilani’s” which closed down a couple years ago. I thought it was fitting since little miss “K”aylani is simply delicious… don’t you think? Also, I am so ashamed that this is not a sneak peek, but rather an old session that I can’t believe I didn’t blog sooner. Thanks for looking!

This stunning family was brought to southern California from South Africa briefly for business. Luckily that “briefly” covered a maternity and newborn session for me! Little miss was 5 weeks old at the time of her newborn session and I knew our typical curled-up-sleeping poses would be limited, but she made up for it in giggles, smiles, crazy cool eye contact and obvious love for her Daddy! Thanks for looking!

Ziggy, Orly, Judah and Gideon welcome the newest Marley to the world. Meet Abraham. It was an honor to photograph their gorgeous children! And I didn’t know it at the time, but the photo session took place on Papa Bob Marley’s birthday! Thank you for letting me share a special day with you guys! Here is a little flash back with the Marley family in 2007: Marley Family.  All images © carrie sandoval | baby

Please meet the adorable and completely adored Mila and Marco, all of two weeks old and barely 5 pounds each! We met them for their “first and LAST naked photoshoot” (says Dad!) at their home in Los Angeles. I often wonder if parents are surprised by what area of their home we decide to shoot in. Here we had this beautifully furnished living room and office with a wonderful wall of windows, yet we chose to shoot in the “under construction – jam packed floor to ceiling with extra furniture” soon to be guest room. It offered smaller and fewer windows, but they were floor to ceiling, a blank wall to use as a back drop and the ability to close the door so that the room would heat up nice and toasty.  The good news is that we didn’t make a mess of the main living area! M+P, It was a pleasure working with you!
