But I thought it was an awesome coincidence when I was gearing up to blog this gorgeous Mom to be, and I noticed the word “Zaftig” floating across my (Apple OSX) vocabulary enriching screensaver. Don’t you just hate her? I mean that in the most complimentary way! I chased down the sun on this session… otherwise, I could have photographed this family all day long. I will get a chance to do just that next month!

I love maternity sessions because I know these soon-to-be-Mama’s feel beautiful… and rightfully so! The black and white looks like a “got milk?” ad to me! And not just because she is pregnant, haha!
This {DROP dead gorgeous} Mom is the owner of DROP It Modern, makers of way cool and {obviously} modern backdrops for photographers. She had booked me for a newborn session, but I had a casting call for a commercial shoot and she fit the bill “perfectly”! I can’t wait to show off the end results of the shoot… soon!
I can barely contain my excitement for this amazing couple… very much looking forward to photographing their precious baby. You may understand if you recognize this beautiful Mama from my blog earlier this year… more commentary coming in November. First, let me say, “WOW!”! I’ve photographed some GORGEOUS Mommy’s lately and I can’t wait to meet their babies!
Secondly, I hope I am not jumping the gun here, but I thought that a post filled with beautiful bellies would be a good time to grab the interest of my Aussie friends who may either be pregnant or who are photographers who photograph bellies and babies! I know you are out there because there is more interest in The Baby as Art Workshop traveling to Australia than anywhere else in the world! This is not for sure, but if there is interest in modeling (IMO, the key to a successful workshop), Brittany and I would seriously considering visiting down under. Preferably in January, Australia’s summer time! Email us if interested!
ETA: Wow! I am floored by the immediate interest and an email box full of potential models! I just wanted to clarify that this would be for NEWBORN models, and that is why I was calling out to those who are pregnant right now. The location and date are still very flexible as of now. If we are coming to Australia, we would most likely visit two different coasts in one visit! Thanks again!
